  • Emma
    Vet Nurse

Emma joined the staff at Orange Veterinary Hospital in 2006. Her interest in animals, particularly horses, motivated her to seek a career in Veterinary Nursing.

During her years at OVH her aptitude to work with horses saw Emma often out in the field assisting the vets progressing to become a skilled Large Animal Nurse. A Certificate IV vet nurse Emma furthered her vet nursing skills and completed her Diploma in Equine Nursing. Emma successfully represented OVH as one of three finalists in the Hills Vet Nurse of the Year 2012. She has now ventured out into the human field and is studying paramedics at University which means we only see her in a casual role when she can spare time in between studies. We love having her in the practice when her schedule permits.

Peta has developed an interest in surgical nursing and has become an integral part of the OVH team - she is a perfect example of hard work and persistence paying off.

Pete has two adorable labradors that might have their bowls filled too often but we wont tell Pete that. During her spare time she enjoys getting together with friends and is a dedicated mum.
