Leisure activities are few and far between with three children, but she loves gardening, attending pony club with my children, triathlon and having a laugh with friends. • Rosie
    Vet Nurse/Receptionist

We welcomed Rosie to OVH in September 2014 and she quickly became an integral member of our reception team.

Rosie completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in her hometown of Yarrawonga, Victoria as a traineeship in 2012. She moved to NSW at the end of 2013 to spread her wings and to further her skills in Vet Nursing by working in a larger and busier Hospital. Rosie works with Debbie Coleman to deliver our popular Puppy Pre-School Classes and can often be seen playing with our newest patients.

Rosie and her partner Kurtley have four big beautiful dogs Rover, Vic, Boof & Mia and love going on 4WD adventures in their spare time to find hidden havens to go camping and bush walking.

  • Amie
    Veterinary Nurse

Amie is originally from England & has lived in Australia for 8 years. Animals have always been her passion & she decided to become a veterinary nurse to help out as many animals as she could.

She first joined OVH in March 2011 as a Nurse/Receptionist and rapidly became an integral part of our team. We and many of our clients were sorry to farewell her in 2014 when she ventured east to further her career at Newcastle. Fortunately for us Amie had left her heart in Orange and we welcomed her back twelve months later where she and her partner have made their home.

Amie used her holidays in 2013 to volunteer for a month in South Africa assisting with veterinary care for the local wildlife, especially Rhinos. She is currently studying her Diploma in Wildlife Management as she has a great interest in the environment.

Amie's family includes a dog called Harley & two goldfish called ‘Mayor’ Lavon Hayes & Lemon. She enjoys travelling, reading & spending time with family & friends.
